Very popular with 5pmers, Absolut Salon has just opened up a new beauty room and 5pm went along to take a look and get a couple of treatments. Here are five reasons why we think you should check it out too.
1. Therapist
The therapist Lindsey is very personable and makes you feel at ease and comfortable during your treatments. She’s very friendly and easy to talk to and keeps you informed of what she’s doing in your treatment as well as giving advice. Lindsey is a very friendly, professional and experienced technician. My appointment was for waxing and she did a thorough job. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
2. Gel nails
Absolut use the Gelish Gel Polish brand in their gel manicures and have a wide variety of colours to choose from depending on your preference.
I went for ‘You Glare/Glow’ a delicious hot pink colour that’s perfect for summer. My nails were buffed and shaped and the polish was expertly and precisely applied by Lindsey.
3. Waxing
The salon uses Adam & Eve wax and I opted for a leg and bikini wax. The waxing was as painless as waxing can be and legs and bikini line were smooth and fuzz free. For those of you who like a Hollywood or Brazilian wax, Absolut specialises in these, so is a good option if you’re looking for a new salon.
